Is there space for dyslexia in high-attainment educational environments? Evidence from the Millennium Cohort Study into attainment grouping in English primary schools
Drawing on data from the Millennium Cohort Study, this paper quantitatively explores whether dyslexic pupils in English primary schools are underrepresented in high attainment groups for core subjects, English and Maths, and to what extent teacher perceptions of ‘ability’ influence group allocation.
