This article presents the qualitatively different ways as the preschool teachers' statements connected to physics and how the teaching of physics changes during four work team planning sessions. The analysis of video transcripts of the planning sessions shows that the preschool teachers' discussions reflect both uncertainty and certainty about the physics content and the physics teaching.

Studien er en kvalitativ studie. Det empiriske grunnlaget for artikkelen er gruppediskusjoner fra to workshops med styrere og pedagogiske ledere i tre barnehager i Norge. Resultatet viser barnehagelærernes perspektiver på kvalitet i utvikling av leke- og læringsmiljøet i barnehagen.

I artikeln analyseras svenska bilderböcker som gör anspråk på att förebygga sexuella övergrepp. Syftet med studien är att analysera böckernas barnsyn och syn på barns aktörskap. Analysen visar att böckerna beskriver övergrepp i vaga uttryck.

I denne artikkelen utforskes barnehagebarns og barnehagelæreres ytringer om teknologi i samtalebasert gruppelesing av digitale bildebøker på nettbrett i norske barnehager. Flere tidligere studier om lesing på nettbrett har undersøkt antall ytringer, mens få studier har utforsket innholdet i ytringene om det teknologiske.

Målet med denne studien er å undersøke hvilke strategier pedagoger i flerkulturelle barnehager bruker for å skape og opprettholde fellesskap mellom barna. Studien bygger på ni semistrukturerte, individuelle intervjuer med pedagogiske ledere i barnehager med en flerkulturell barnegruppe.

It may be essential for children to have the possibility to express resistance in diverse ways and for different reasons in order to develop democratic practice in kindergarten. But how can early childhood education students recognise, reflect on and work with notions of resistance? We explore the use of young children’s photographs as a springboard for students’ explorations by bringing together concepts of resistance and multiple listening with thinking about slow pedagogies.
