This is a cross-cultural comparative study in which we conducted a qualitative content analysis of the similarities and differences in the two countries’ legal ECE documents.

Middle-school boys are outperforming girls in math and science, reversing a trend toward gender parity, according to an NWEA analysis of national assessments. The analysis shows that boys are pulling ahead in STEM subjects, particularly at higher achievement levels, while girls continue to excel in reading.
