Med udgangspunkt i et pilotprojekt om børns undergrundsliv og leg i skolens specialklasser (BUSSK) bruger denne artikel fænomenet skærme som prisme for trivselsperspektiver. Pilotprojektet udfoldes i en specialklasse med otte drenge. Empirien er genereret gennem deltagerobservationer i undervisning, frikvarter og skolefritidsordning (SFO) og i et rammesat legeeksperiment.
