Allt fler svenska ungdomar mår psykiskt dåligt, särskilt flickor. Förklaringen har ofta sökts hos individen men ny forskning pekar i stället på skolan. Den visar hur betyg, prestationskrav och skolreformer har gjort skolan till en arena för stress, oro och rädsla för att misslyckas.

Lärare är en tjänstemannagrupp som har haft stort inflytande på den skolpolitiska utvecklingen i Sverige. Men varför började lärare agera kollektivt? I en ny avhandling av J.
