Typologies of student vulnerability in second-chance education programmes

In this study, we examine 493 young people (ages 19–25) enrolled in three SCEPs in Spain. A cluster analysis with quality indicators of the solution was performed to determine personal, educational, and social vulnerability typologies and compare differentiated response patterns between participants. Pupils’interactions and decision-making in an educational game

By way of video observations, the current article examines the social interaction of pupils playing an educational card game about fractions, focusing on their epistemic and deontic negotiations during decision-making in dyads. Our findings reveal recurring patterns in how pupils make decisions, emphasising the importance of both epistemic (knowledge-based) and deontic (rights-based) negotiations. (pdf)

“I’ve never thought about it this way”: the process and positive implications of co-creation on teacher education about prevention of gender-based violence

The scientific literature has shown evidence of how, given the increase in gender violence at an early age, didactic materials on its prevention should be based on scientific evidence.
