This article focuses on the role of the Swedish as a second language (SSL) teacher in the Language Introduction Programme (LIP) in secondary schools in Sweden. Policy analysis is used, with policy comprising of three closely intertwined layers: declared, perceived and practised.

This article presents the qualitatively different ways as the preschool teachers' statements connected to physics and how the teaching of physics changes during four work team planning sessions. The analysis of video transcripts of the planning sessions shows that the preschool teachers' discussions reflect both uncertainty and certainty about the physics content and the physics teaching.

Syftet med artikeln är att belysa hur abduktion kan vara särskilt förtjänstfullt när forskningsintresset är didaktiskt. En av den didaktiska forskningens utmaningar är förutsättningar för vetenskaplig kunskapsproduktion som skapas i relationen mellan teori och praktikens skeenden.

I artikeln kommer ett enskilt, överraskande trassligt, fokusgruppssamtal med fyra elever att omtolkas med utgångspunkt i Charles Sanders Peirce’s begrepp abduktion. Materialet är hämtat ur ett treårigt forskningsprojekt kring elevers erfarenheter av konstnärlig undervisning som bedrevs av professionella konstnärer.

Ambitionen med den här artikeln är att beskriva abduktion och argumentera för dess plats i samhällsvetenskaplig forskning med stöd i Charles Sanders Peirces idé om kunskap som ett socialt och kontinuerligt element.
