Schools bring mindfulness to the classroom to help kids in the Covid-19 crisis
More schools are introducing mindfulness — even remotely — to help students cope with the mental and emotional effects of the coronavirus pandemic. Megan Sweet, senior director of program and impact at the nonprofit Mindful Schools, says the public health crisis has moved mindfulness from a ”back burner item to something that is in front-of-mind for educators and school leaders.”
