Tusentals skolflickor riskerar att hamna på efterkälken när Sierra Leone nu försöker resa sig efter ebolakrisen, larmar Amnesty International i en ny rapport.
Nearly two-thirds of school leaders in England are making significant cuts or dipping in to reserves to stave off deficits, the National Association of Head Teachers warns.
A survey from Common Sense Media found that 45% of teenagers say they use social media every day. Only 36% said they enjoyed the activity "a lot." The survey also showed that half of the teens surveyed reported checking social media or watching TV "a lot" or "sometimes" while doing homework.
Researchers found state school pupils with A* grade A-levels were likely to get better degrees than those from private schools with similar A-level grades.
